Mermaid Shaker Card (LOTV)

Hi Everyone!

Been a rough couple of weeks health wise! Still struggling quite a bit and it's my Birthday tomorrow! Woohoo!!

I managed to very slowly make my first ever shaker card this week! Mum let me have some of my birthday papers and flowers a week early to cheer me up :-)





I used:

LOTV little Mermaid 2 Stamp and Romance & Roses Papers (my new fave!!)
Bonnets & Bowties Solids Paper (shaker frame and backing paper)

Coloured with Promarkers & flexmarkers
Liquid pearls on the image 

WOC Apple Blossoms and Aqua roses
Ribbon Girl - Aqua ribbon, 'Anne' lace & Ivory twine
Woodware grass punch
Hobbycraft 2mm & 3mm pearl gems
The Works - Clear & Pearl beads
Charm, sentiment stamp, Aqua heart sparkler from stash



I did have a bit of a mishap with super glue on the acetate and had to cut it out and re do it lol

A baby wipe on the acetate stops it from being static and beads or glitter sticking

I used 2mm foam tape which was just about big enough for my beads!

Took forever doing all them pads but the finished result is so much fun!

    Oh wow, this is beautiful and the shaker element is so pretty with the beads...just like bubbles!
    I love the soft pastels, and the flowers and papers are gorgeous...I bet that did cheer you up to use them :-)

    I saw this while cruising some entries in Crafting by Designs and the colors caught my eye and I'm so glad I came to see this up close. This is so pretty. You've colored this so nicely and I love the pink seahorses...absolutely lovely shading on them. And the shaker is fabulous..and thank you for inspiring me to try one. I have the punches and dies that I can try something like this! Fabulous embellishments, Lucy, and I hope you win all your challenges. This card deserves a prize or two! :) Hugs, Gail
