Hi Everyone! Been a rough couple of weeks health wise! Still struggling quite a bit and it's my Birthday tomorrow! Woohoo!! I managed to very slowly make my first ever shaker card this week! Mum let me have some of my birthday papers and flowers a week early to cheer me up :-) I used: LOTV little Mermaid 2 Stamp and Romance & Roses Papers (my new fave!!) Bonnets & Bowties Solids Paper (shaker frame and backing paper) Coloured with Promarkers & flexmarkers Liquid pearls on the image WOC Apple Blossoms and Aqua roses Ribbon Girl - Aqua ribbon , ' Anne' lace & Ivory twine Woodware grass punch Hobbycraft 2mm & 3mm pearl gems The Works - Clear & Pearl beads Charm, sentiment stamp, Aqua heart sparkler from stash I did have a bit of a mishap with super glue on the acetate and had to cut it out and re do it lol A baby wipe on the acetate stops it from being static and beads or glitter sticking ...
Beautiful card. When I first looked at your card, I thought you had a heart shaped stamp filled with butterflies and heart. It was only reading about your card that I realised all the butterflies and hearts were individually! Your stamping looks wonderful and I love the design of the card.

This is just beautiful Lucy! I too thought that this was one stamp and now I'm super impressed that you created this with lots of stamps. We need you to do a tutorial! It creates a really fabulous card. Hope you're feeling a bit better today. Hugs, Jayne xx

You have some patience Lucy!! AMAZING!! xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Lucy! I was wrong about the patterned paper as this is a wonderful CAS card. The stamped butterflies and hearts are lovely and doesn't look easy to do but so worthwhile to get this result. Debra x
ReplyDeleteI love the CAS style of your card, Lucy. I can see how it would take a while to make - but it's been so worth the effort and your butterfly heart is sooo pretty.

Might have taken you ages to achieve but the resulting card is well worth it. I love the idea of the individual butterflies and hearts. Super card. Thank you for fluttering by #23. Hugs Mrs A.

So very pretty & love the way you've created the heart shape. I can just bet it was a bit tedious stamping all the tiny fill in hearts & seeing just exactly where each needed to be placed. Very pretty papers & layout with that delicate lace scallop trim. Beautiful card! TFS & Hugs - Happy Valentine's Day too.
