Snowy Squirrel Quickie Christmas Card (LOTV)

Hello!

I saw a challenge on Crafty Hazelnuts Christmas blog to make a card in 20 minutes or less! Doesn't that sound nice?! A whole card in 20 mins.

Hmm so that means no stamping and colouring then...! So I reached for my LOTV Winter Wildlife artpad and some silver sentiment stickers and here's what I made! (Just in the nick of time!)

The paper is from Little Claire
Layered with silver mirror card
Used patterned scissors around the image frame
Silver gems in each corner to finish!

I'd love to see what you guys could make in just 20 mins!

Gosh just blogging it takes about 3 times as long lol!

Hope you've had a lovely weekend!

  1. A whole card in 20 minutes Lucy, it takes me that long to rifle through my papers!! You have done a fabulous job and your layout is wonderful (note to self...get peel offs out!!). The squirrel is adorable and I have a tale to share. One of the ladies that keeps her horses here was having a lesson this week and told me that a squirrel ran down a tree, along the arena fence, hopped off the fence and disappeared into the hedge SIX times....each time with a baby in her mouth, how amazing is that?!! I marvel at the hardworking little birds this time of year they are relentless building their nests and getting them ready for their babies. Hope Sunday has been good to you xx

  3. Well done you! 20 minutes! I'm afraid that I'm with Sarah, it takes me at least 20 minutes to rifle through my papers! Oh dear! You need to do a tutorial on how to make such a gorgeous card in 20 minutes. I love the little squirrel image - just beautiful. I too have a squirrel tale. Last week I came across a tiny squirrel in the road. I tried to shoo it out of the road and onto the pavement. It finally got the message but then it started to climb up my pram!!!! Bold little chap he was! I think my shrieking and wild arm waving encouraged him to scarper up a nearby tree. My little on thought it was hilarious and it took me ages to get her to sleep!!! This is a beautiful card, well dome! Hugs, Jayne x
