Welcome Princess Charlotte! (Royal New Baby Card)
Hello!
Yep you read right... I just love a royal celebration and I've made a new baby card for the birth of Princess Charlotte :-)
I'll be posting it to William & Kate in the morning!
I sent one for the birth of Prince George too and they always send out a thank you to everyone!
When they left hospital she was wearing cream wrapped in a white blanket so I wanted that as the colour scheme, with some pretty British bunting and buttons!
I used:
Stamp - LOTV
Promarkers
Satin ribbons - Ribbon Girl
Cream Lace - Live & Love Crafts
Docrafts Union Jack buttons
Crown, hearts & banner cut out from Forever Friends British Paper Pad
Background Papers - Tesco Wrapping paper!
I liked that the bunting paper was slightly cream and the bunting is girlie and Lacey! Fits with the lace print paper and cream lace perfectly!
Isn't she gorgeous!
Hope you are all well and having a nice week!
Lucy x

Your card is delightful...just like little Charlotte! I absolutely love how you matched the colours of her outfit and it's so lovely to see a beautiful girly design but no pink! I'm a huge fan of pink but your colours here and the Union Flag details are so perfect for this occasion :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Kate and William will treasure all the lovely cards they are sent - what a really lovely thought.

Lucy what a special card to celebrate the little Princess' birth. I am sure her parents will love it, and keep it for her to enjoy when she's older. It's nice to hear that a thank you card is sent in appreciation. Your card is delightful, and loved the cream with the British colors & flags. Also delighted to read that you had some wrapping paper that you were able to recycle into your darling card. It's so kind of you to do this in P. Charlotte's honor. TFS
