Can't look through blogs at the mo or reply to messages :-( I made this card for  A Day For Daisies - Use Newsprint  Challenge: I used: New Shell Baby G  Digi - ADFD Kaisercraft Script Stamp onto the shell in brown ink Coloured with Promarkers  Papers - LOTV Beach Bliss Cheesecloth - Ribbon Girl Brown string, sequins, brown pearls, sentiment stamp from stash Foam pads under the image  Shells are from Woolacombe beach (North Devon) 6 years ago! Hello! Here's a card I made for my Nan to give her sister for her birthday. She asked for pretty flowers, sparkly gems & "To a Special Sister" I used: Penny Black Sentiment Stamp Papermania Capsule Notelet Paper -  Love Letter - Studio75 Ivory Seam Binding  - Crafty Ribbons 'Amanda' Ivory Lace ,  Large Daisy ,  20mm Rose ,  10mm Rose ,  Sweetheart Blossom  - The Ribbon Girl Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch Woodware Grass Punch 2mm gems, silver heart sparklers from stash I popped the centre out of the large Daisy and use a heart sparkler & scattered a few tiny gems around! Hi Everyone! Sorry bit of a story coming you don't have to read if you don't want lol.... My mum said a couple months ago her sewing machine she's had for 30 years(!!!) was giving up and she really needed a new one but has no money. So I straight away messaged both my brothers and told them we were buying her a new one! I had to really go on a guilt trip with them that she does so much for us and always has and has no spare money for the things she needs like we do etc and just about managed to get the ok from them both to all put £100 each in lol I made this card to give her with the money (she's very fussy and would want to choose one herself) and a couple weeks ago txt her to come up because I'd made her a card lol I gave her the card with a little message saying thank you from all 3 of us and she was delighted. I then handed her the envelope with '£300 sewing machine fund' written on it and she burst into tears and wouldn't tak...

Well the temptation got the better of me and I just had to have another play with this fab image before the colouring contest closed lol Thought I'd go for a very different design this time! Hi everyone! I saw on Saturated Canary they have a colouring contest. Usually I don't have the confidence to enter but I've been working so hard on my colouring and the new images Krista has made for the challenge are awesome and I fell in love with this one straight away! I used: 90s Fashion Decade Digi  - Saturated Canary Coloured with Promarkers Maja Design - Spring Basics Papers Roses  &  Sweetheart Blossoms  - WOC  Lace 'Barbara'  - The Ribbon Girl Daisy Border Punch - X-Cut Grass Punch - Woodware Wooden Sentiment - The Works The denim material was cut from some old jeans! I frayed the edges slightly and the button was a spare from a cardigan of my mums! I used a ruler and pin to punch round the edge of the paper then drew faux stitching with a letracet fine liner I had great fun making this and I'm really pleased with it! Hi everyone! Here's a card I've made using a Mermaid Digi from A Day for Daisies! It's the first time I've used one of their images and this was quite different to what I usually colour but I really enjoyed it! I wasn't sure how to go about the hair at first, and I wanted to keep a pale shabby chic look.  I'm quite pleased with how the whole thing turned out!
