Crow Witch Mothers Day Card (ADFD)
Yep you read correctly haha! When I saw this image I said to my mum it reminds me of her and I was getting it for her Halloween card this year and she loved it and wanted it for her Mother's Day card!!
Haha! She doesn't wear tatty clothes but she's a skinny witchy looking version of Cinderella and has always worked herself to the bone!
The colours and style I've used are my mums taste too
I used:
Promarkers
Carta Bella Papers (from SSS)
Stars Semicircle die cut
Gold glitter glue
Lace - Ribbon girl
Star sequins
Ranger Liquid pearls
Vintage photo distress ink
Mixture of sentiment stamps
Have a lovely weekend!

Challenges:
(I used Something old - stars, something new - image & lace, Lace, Liquid pearls)
Well she is rather a nice looking witch Lucy so can understand your Mum.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this card and loved it even more when I read the story behind it! I think it's wonderful that you took the time to make this card so personalized for your mom. And the way you described her made me smile! I also adore the sentiment you chose because I think it is PERFECT for this non-traditional mother's day card! Your coloring was also quite stunning and I'm impressed at how life-like you made it look. Love the addition of the semi-circle stars, too! You did a remarkable job on this and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!

ReplyDeleteHi Lucy, dont know how I've not spotted your blog before - I've come from seeing your top 5 card at Passion for Promarkers - its beautiful, I love how you have coloured her - can I ask a quick question, how do you achieve such subtle colouring - mine seems to be bright or a touch of shading but the effect you achieve is gorgeous - do you use the blender pen a lot or maybe I've just not got the right colours - many thanks in advance xx Ali x
